What is PRP – The "Vampire" Treatment?
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a type of blood plasma rich in platelets. The platelets are separated from the patient's own blood, and the platelet-rich plasma is then injected into the skin, improving its quality. PRP is a natural rejuvenation treatment because it uses the patient's own platelets, eliminating the risk of allergies.
Platelets contain growth factors and proteins that regenerate tissue and rejuvenate the skin. They stimulate collagen production, repair damaged skin, and reduce the signs of aging.

What a PRP treatment looks like
The process begins with drawing a very small amount of blood, similar to what's needed for a blood test. This blood is then placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from other blood components. Centrifuging the blood significantly increases the concentration of platelets, by 5 to 10 times,
making the PRP treatment itself more effective. This provides the necessary material to begin your treatment.
A local anesthetic cream is applied to the skin to make the treatment comfortable and painless. The resulting platelet-rich serum is then injected into the skin with thin needles using a mesotherapy technique. The platelets release growth factors over a period of 7 to 10 days after the treatment.
The moment the platelets are injected into the skin, growth factors are released, which stimulate stem cells. This encourages the growth of new cells and stimulates the production of collagen in the skin, which is responsible for its tone.
